Tomfoolery in Eberron

What is the structural integrity of a pearl?
and we will need to pick out the Best Manticore and Harpy of Honor

A group of harpies, along with two pet manticores, assault our heroes in an attempt to take the rest of their shinies. One of them seems to think this will impress their queen if they can kill these intruders.

The manticores have their gravity inverted and don’t know how to fly upside down.

After dispatching the crude attack, they approach the happy queen with their gifts of marbles, cotton, and goats. The queen gloats that she could call her flock at any time to to them to shreds, and Wolfwood has a starting contest with her guard manticore.

The queen explains that their previous home in Aundair, the star peaks, where invaded by Perytons, odd birds with the head of a stag, who consume hearts to reproduce and are resistant to the non magical weapons of the harpies.

At one point, the queen stands up, leaving the black sphere she used to communicate with her flock in her throne. Some quick mage handing and some tiefling magical darkness mileage later, the queen is sphereless and much more apprehensive and afraid of the group since she can no longer call down her flock to protect her.

Promises of a mutually beneficial alliance were made. The harpies didn’t understand the concept of marriage, but agreed to one between the queen and Merser when it was explained to them.

As a gesture of good faith, the party offers to take care of some giant apes that occupy some of the territory the harpies would like to expand to. Using their baby giant gorilla as bait, and overwhelming numbers of spiders, harpies, and flaming assholes, they easily dispatch the pair of monkeys.

71st day of Autumn

The adventurers made their way towards the Harpy Home where Merser found himself charmed by the song

of one of the aforementioned creatures. Finding himself lured towards the creature, Mercer began walking towards the

cliff’s edge. But the playing of Ringo’s music with his… cowbell… cured Mercer of this sudden infatuation. Greeting the

harpy Mercer attempted negotiations with the cliff guard. Which seemed to go poorly, Mercer was persuaded to restrain his

urge to incinerate the poor creature by the wise words of Akuu. Who then attempted to patch up the negotiations and perhaps

further the goal of peace. Despite seeming to go well the harpy was rather obsessed with eatting Murlocs more than making

friends with them, an unfortunate turn of circumstances but the guard did take several of the lighter shiny gifts and the

group’s message to the queen.
Continuing on their path towards the Queen Harpy’s nest they were passed over by a shadow that turned out to be a

passing Manticore. Mercer quickly positioned himself to lead from the middle of the group… Further along the path the

party decides to have Wolfwood climb a nearby spire to survey the land, he stands in awe of the beautifull terrain before

the rest of the group shouts at him to drop a rope for Thamior so that he can take a look as well. Upon reaching the top he

spots a large nest of harpies.
Meanwhile Akuu took a moment to check up on the Sharpfin Cave via his illusionary proxy where he noted that the Sharpfin

and Bluegill clans were both being segratory towards each other. Not intermingling or socializing with each other at all.

After giving the murlocs a bit of a peptalk Akuu’s attention returned to his body and he conveyed the social problems of

the murlocs to the rest of the party. Akuu, after speaking to the party to no luck for a solution, decided to try and have

the Sharpfin’s musician’s play for the two clans hoping to solve some of the awkwardness of the lack of mingling.
Ringo then decided to go bounding ahead up the mountain for scouting purposes to go leaping ahead. Wolfwood goes

sprinting along after him and manages to barely keep even with Ringo’s antics. As they leaped ahead they encountered in a

valley, several harpies and a pair of manticores. One of which came and roared at Wolfwood who… wisely witheld his urge

to slaughter it. Ringo took a moment to look around and spotted a pair of harpies with a net held between them.
When the party catches up, one of the harpy’s demands the party hand over it’s shinies to which Akuu explains such would

be a bad idea… The harpy did not seem impressed at first until Akuu implied that he’d be happy to display their corpses

to the Harpy Queen. Negotiations crumble and the harpies order the attack upon our adventurers.

The northen Island: Stormhome
Hunt for the Moon Pearl (and other adventures)

Testing please ignore.

Our adventurers were tasked to claim the Moon Pearl by Kobin Trenzela .

They went to Stormhome, at which point they encountered a small horde of murlocs raiding the trade city. During the ensuing battle they came across a group of five dwarven adventurers who assisted in driving off the horde.

They spent the night recovering at Duke Telrii mansion.

Both part of adventurers then were tasked with destroying the murloc threat.
Not wishing to share the spoils of victory our party rushed off to face the challenge without the dwarves.

After dealing with the murloc threat the adventurers hired a boat to venture to The Gauntlet of Seahanine (Goddess of Trickery and Illusion).

Therein they claimed the Moon Pearl and Obsidian Dust.

Afterwards the party returned to the Sharpfin Clan (of which they held control of). To check in upon their wards.

Then they returned to Stormhome and were assaulted by a flock of harpies. Defeating the attackers they claimed an orb that allowed communication with the Harpy Queen.

At the city they chartered a fishing boat to carry them on a two day voyage to the Bluegill Clan, wherein they assaulted and dominated the murlocs therein, defeating the Naga leader of the clan. In doing so they discovered a map that showed the locations of various murloc clans that were free or conquered by the naga.

Returning to town they rested, restocked and began gathering information upon harpies and murlocs. The adventurers used a sending spell to contact Kobin who sent a royal Pegasus rider to claim the moon pearl and obsidian dust as well as provide payment for their services.

Afterwards they scouted out the Harp Territories with the assistance of the Pegasus Rider. Locating the harpy’s nests and estimating their forces to be in the range of a couple hundred.
